Program Overview
The Senior Community Center provides meals, groceries, and nutrition education to individuals 55 and older. Daily meals are served on site at 11:30am in a congregate setting with other members of the community. Meals are designed by a registered dietitian to ensure a balanced and healthy diet.
Free grocery distribution is available on a weekly basis year-round, and we also offer a seasonal Fresh Farm Stand and Choice Pantry. Additionally, adults aged 65 and older who meet income qualifications are eligible to receive a box of shelf-stable goods each month.
Nutrition education opportunities are provided weekly through the healthy cooking class as well as periodic presentations by a registered dietitian.
