Senior Food Access and Nutrition

Program Overview

The Senior Community Center provides free meals, groceries, and nutrition education to individuals 55 and older. Daily meals are served onsite at 11:30am in a congregate setting with other members of the Center, and are designed by a registered dietitian to ensure a balanced and healthy diet.

Weekly grocery distribution is available free of charge through prepacked pantry and produce bags, as well as through monthly shelf-stable food boxes to those 65+ who meet income qualifications. We also offer a seasonal Fresh Farm Stand and Choice Pantry that runs once per week from April through October.

Nutrition education opportunities are provided weekly through the healthy cooking class as well as periodic presentations by a registered dietitian. Contact us today to learn more!
