Program Overview
The team at Lutheran Settlement House offers a variety of trainings that invite in your existing experiences and knowledge to build new skills for supporting survivors of domestic violence.
We have both standard training modules as well as custom workshops to better meet your needs. A few of our trainings are: the 3 Rs of Domestic Violence (Recognize, Respond and Refer), Safety Planning, Screening, Crisis Intervention, Addressing Teen Dating Violence, Domestic Violence in the Workplace, Race Privilege and Survivor Support, and Violence Prevention Efforts.
Being trauma informed and social justice competent are core values on our training team. Our facilitators are ready to dig into the larger dynamics at play around Domestic Violence, to get real about how systemic racism and oppression impact survivors, and to do it all while keeping these heavy topics energizing to learn about.
