Caregiver Support

Program Overview

The CARES Program (CAregivers REducing Stress) provides support to unpaid, informal family caregivers of older adults, adults with disabilities, and nonparental caregivers of young children, such as grandparents. The CARES Program provides tools and peer support through individual counseling, support groups, and workshops. With this support, caregivers are better able to take care of themselves, and therefore able to better care for their loved one(s).  Services are provided by a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) free of charge.
