We’re thrilled to introduce Groove for Good, a dance party to help end domestic violence. This party will have everything. Dancing, music, a good cause, tater tots, your favorite LSH staff members, and private bowling lanes for your friend or partner who loves supporting domestic violence survivors but really doesn’t like dancing.
We hope you’ll join us on the evening of Thursday, October 16th from 6-9pm upstairs at North Bowl to Groove for Good during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Here are a few ways you can support survivors and help end domestic violence:
- Purchase a ticket. Click here to buy a ticket for $30 and join us on October 16th. This is an all ages event with limited capacity, so get your ticket(s) today!
- Fundraise in your network. If you are attending the event, this is a great way to invite your friends/family/coworkers to “sponsor” you to dance! And if you aren’t able to attend, you can still fundraise. We’ll never tell! Click here, then click “Fundraise” to start your own fundraiser to help us reach our $15,000 goal.
- Join a team to fundraise (and dance). This is a great option for your group to get a little competitive and have a lot of fun. Can you raise more money than your bestie? Can you have more fun than Brenda in HR? We think so. Click here and then click “Join a Team” to join or create a team.

Event Details
We can’t wait to see you on Thursday October 16th, from 6-9pm, upstairs at North Bowl. We hope you dress in whatever outfit makes you comfortable and confident to dance the night away (or at least to dance for up to 3 hours). Purple is encouraged, as are sparkles, feathers, and fun. Please note that the second floor is only accessible by stairs.
North Bowl is located at 909 N 2nd St (near the corner of 2nd and Master), and is accessible by public transportation including the El and the 5 bus. There is street parking available around the venue. Carpooling and ride shares are encouraged.
