Lutheran Settlement House has been providing food to homebound seniors for over twenty years. Now coordinating services with the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, LSH’s Meal Distribution Center staff prepare, package, and deliver hot and cold meals to approximately 6,000 frail elderly each day. These nutritious meals include an entrée, a vegetable, fruit, juice, bread and butter, milk and a dessert.

In 2002-2002, LSH’s Meal Distribution Center delivered 1.8 million meals to senior citizens living in Philadelphia.
