Bridging the Gaps

Links the training of health and social service professionals with the provision of health-related services for underserved and economically disadvantaged populations through a summer internship program.

Bright Horizons

Provided funding for Bright Spaces, our cheery preschool play space that fosters emotional, physical and social development of young children.

BuildaBridge

BuildaBridge delivers life skills training, artistic educational experiences, and therapeutic intervention to our youth through the arts including music, drama, dance, creative writing, and the visual arts.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia: Homeless Health Initiative

HHI provides monthly medical and dental health checks for our youth as well as workshops for our moms in topics such as maternal health and asthma education.

Community Legal Services

Offers workshops and legal advice on topics such as TANF and family reunification, also provides ongoing trainings for staff on providing services to homeless infants and toddlers.

Girls Leadership Camp

Offers an affordable summer residential camp experience for young girls founded on the values of respect, diversity, and collaboration.

Homeless Advocacy Project

Provides on-site free legal clinics for families in need of legal assistance regarding issues such as housing rights, SSI, and welfare.

Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania

Nurses facilitate weekly Healthy Habits workshops for mothers on topics such as healthy eating, prenatal care, and exercise.

Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania

Offers Parenting Plus, a parenting class designed specifically for homeless mothers.

Neighborhood Bike Works

Summer camp involves bike repair & maintenance, riding safety, and bike handling skills. Participants build and keep a bicycle upon completion of the class.

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Provides 12-week art-making workshops facilitated by local artists as well as field trips for families to community events at the museum.

Philadelphia School District: Homeless Children’s Initiative

Supplies uniforms, transportation, and school-based support to students.

Public Health Management Corporation

Provides early childhood assessments and referrals to early intervention services through ChildLink. The Homeless Teen Education Project provides homeless teens with tutoring, mentoring, and educational case management services.

Rubye's Kids

Provides quarterly Birthday Parties and an Annual Christmas party for Jane Addams children. In addition, Rubye’s Kids built an on-site library with age-appropriate books and computer stations.

Schools of Social Work – Penn, Temple and Bryn Mawr

Year long Masters of Social Work interns provide case management.

Third Federal Bank

Third Federal Bank provides training and fiscal support to “All About the Benjamins,” our financial literacy class.
