Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
OVR is the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, a state agency that helps persons with disabilities help themselves to prepare for, start, and maintain a career. OVR has fifteen offices located around the state with over 400 professional vocational rehabilitation counselors. These counselors work every year with thousands of persons who have physical, mental and emotional disabilities.

CareerLink
CareerLink is a cooperative effort to provide one-stop delivery of career services to job seekers, employers and other interested individuals. Jobseekers can receive assistance with creating a resume, researching careers, accessing trainings, and a myriad of other job-related activities. Employers can use CareerLink to find skilled workers, post job openings, screen applicants, and research the labor market. CareeLink can also help service providers with trainings, transport, medical and psychological services, and assistive devices and technology.

Child Care Information Services (CCIS)
CCIS is your information source for finding, selecting, and paying for child care. There are five CCIS offices in Philadelphia, and at least one CCIS in every county in Pennsylvania.

PA-WIN
The Pennsylvania Workforce Improvement Network (PA WIN) is designed to encourage and support the expansion of Adult Basic Literacy Education (ABLE) agencies’ abilities to provide customized Foundation Skills training for employees in the workplace. Over 30 ABLE agencies in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania have been selected as PA WIN affiliates. Each affiliate has a designated PA WIN program developer who works to bridge the worlds of education and business. Affiliate agencies and their program developers work with PA CareerLink Centers, local Workforce Investment Boards, and employers, assisting them in assessing employers’ needs and workers’ Skills and designing high-quality, customized Foundation Skills training programs to meet the needs of both.
